Work with Amber Cyman and find the home of your dreams in Silver Lake.

There are certain qualities you need to look for in a real estate agent, especially if you want to buy a real estate property in Silver Lake. Interviewing your prospects is usually a good idea, but finding the right real estate agent is easier said than done.

In order to choose the best agent for your real estate needs, you need to consider factors like how long they have been licensed and how many deals they have closed.

Experience matters, especially when it comes to real estate. You want a buyer’s agent who is familiar with the ins and outs of the industry, so they can give you proper advice throughout the process. Whether you are buying or selling a property in Silver Lake, they can walk you through it and help you handle any problem that you may encounter along the way.

When it comes to real estate properties in Silver Lake, it pays to have a real estate agent who is really familiar with the area. Your agent should know the area well enough to give you the answers for some of your most important questions. They need to know about nearby school districts, universities, shopping centers, hospitals, etc. This could make a big difference in your decision-making process as you look for a property to buy. The more information you can get, the better.

Ideally, you want a real estate agent who is active in the industry. Ask them about how many transactions they have done so far within the year. Although the actual number doesn’t matter, you can get an idea of how well they are doing at keeping their business consistent.

Finally, you need a real estate agent who is available when you need them. Agents need to be available during business hours to manage the logistics of your real estate transaction. Real estate is a tough business when it comes to the hours. Most of the time, agents also have to be available after work hours to meet with clients. A good agent will make sure they are available when you need them so they can handle problems that may arise during the transaction.

Don’t just take your agent’s word for it. You can easily find testimonials online from clients they have worked with in the past. This is one of your most reliable sources of information when it comes to real estate agents.

Amber Cyman, for example, consistently receives positive feedback from her clients, which you can read about online. This gives you an idea on how effective she is when it comes to helping her clients secure their dream homes. Here are a few of those testimonials about Amber Cyman:

“Amber is hands down the best realtor we’ve ever worked with! Buying a home is so hard when there’s so much competition but with her work ethic there’s nothing really that stands in her way. She works tirelessly and will fight for you every step of the way and she really has your best interest at heart. She’s honest with telling you everything that is wrong with any home and has a great amount of local knowledge to find you the most perfect home. I could go on and on but bottom line is just get her to represent you and you won’t be sorry. She’s the best of the best!”

-Natasha Hegarty bought a single family home in 2019 for approximately $300K in Traverse City, MI 49684-

Another testimonial is from a user named DavidRhine7, who bought and sold a home in 2017 in Traverse City, Michigan:

“We took 2 years to find the house of our dreams and Amber was with us every step of the way. We had a tough price point and some high standards but Amber took our challenge and made it an amazing experience. If there was ever a listing that came up, it didn’t matter what time a day Amber would send it. With no reservation and with the highest regard – there is only one call you should make when trying to find a house and that’s to Amber Cyman. Finding a house is a process, you have the beginning stages, finding your house, closing, and then after closing. It has taken me a year to write this but even to this day Amber still cares and asks us how everything is going. You will Not find a better realtor.”

Amber Cyman was voted 2019 Traverse Magazine “Red Hot 10 Best Realtors” for Northern Michigan. She has also received the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards from Real Estate One. But as Amber herself will tell you, awards don’t mean everything when it comes to real estate.

What’s more important is Amber’s passion for homes and for helping people find an investment property for their dream home. The awards and the recognition are just the cherry on top.

Amber Cyman is also very active within the community in groups such as Immaculate Conception PAC, Child Family Services, and Harvest MOPS group.

Amber loves to negotiate for home sellers. She knows the importance of being well-prepared so she could defend her clients against low ball offers. 1. Sand Dunes of Silver Lake

Like a scene from Lawrence of Arabia, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes entice visitors to explore the expanse of sandy peaks. Cruise Silver Lake or park on the lake’s northernmost shore to access 2,000 acres of pure golden sand. Run through the towering dunes, but remember to climb back up! Try the challenge of sandboarding on the slopes; you can rent boards from numerous water sports shops in town. You can also look for rare fulgurites, narrow tubes of molten and solidified sand created by lightning strikes.

Silver Lake Sand Dunes

  1. Drive through the dunes

One of Silver Lake’s most popular features is its 450-acre all-terrain vehicle. Visitors can cruise up and over the expansive dunes in their own 4x4s, provided they are equipped with an ORV decal and a ten-foot orange flag. Alternatively, travelers can rent off-road vehicles specially equipped to tackle the unique challenges of driving on sand. The Silver Lake Sand Dunes are the only sand dunes east of the Mississippi River that allow visitors to drive private motorized vehicles over the changing landscape. The ORV area of Silver Lake is active from April 1 to October 31.

 The Dunes Resort

  1. Ride the Dunes

Mac Wood’s Dune Rides

Since 1930, Mac Wood’s Dune Rides has been guiding visitors on an exciting excursion through the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The only tour company allowed on the dunes, Mac Wood’s buggies glide up one dune and plunge down the other, past striking vistas of sparkling Lake Michigan, Silver Lake, and the 2,000 acres of dunes that separate them. Along the way, drivers entertain themselves with humorous stories and silly puns. They also share seriously fascinating stories about the unique history and ecology of this area. Rides last approximately forty minutes and follow a seven-mile route with a short photo stop.

  1. Playing in the water

Lake Michigan’s four-mile beach at Silver Lake offers great opportunities for swimming and body surfing, building sandcastles, and fishing for salmon or lake trout. But just across those soaring sand dunes is the 690-acre inland Silver Lake, a warmer, calmer swimming option when Lake Michigan proves too cold or choppy. Launch your boat from one of Silver Lake State Park’s public launches or rent a kayak, paddleboard, personal watercraft, or motorboat from one of Mears’ water sports stores.

 Lake Michigan

  1. Climb a lighthouse

Small Sable Lighthouse

Built in 1874, the Little Sable Lighthouse is the perfect place to stop for a picnic on the beach or catch a beautiful Lake Michigan sunset. Once painted white and paired with a lighthouse keeper’s quarters, the lighthouse now stands all alone, its 10-foot-high cinnamon-colored exterior soaring over the shore of Lake Michigan. For a small admission fee, visitors can climb the tower for spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the surrounding Silver Lake State Park.

 Little Sable Point Lighthouse

  1. Unleash Your Inner Adrenaline Junkie

Adventures in Silver Lake Michigan are not limited to the beach. Head to Craig’s Cruisers – Silver Lake for bumper boats and go-karts, a zipline, miniature golf and arcade games. Next door, Silver Lake Jellystone Park offers modern camping facilities, wagon rides, basketball and volleyball, billiards, table tennis, and a variety of other family activities.

In the fall, visit the Apple & BBQ Cook-Off Festival.

  1. Discover Fall Colors

Consider a ride or walk on the Hart-Montague Rail Trail, a 22-mile linear state park. The entire trail is at least 3 meters wide and paved by rich farmland, forests and quaint villages. There are many stops along the way to rest or grab a bite to eat. Start your journey at the Trail Head in downtown Hart and enjoy your scenic drive through our beautiful area.

  1. Paddle Away

Bring your canoe or boat to experience the beauty of the region from a different point of view. Public launches and boat ramps can be found at Hart Lake and Silver Lake. You can also rent a canoe, kayak, tube, or raft from Happy Mohawk Canoe Livery and experience the scenic White River.

Hart Pizza has been a staple of the Sand Dunes culinary scene since 1980. The “heart pizza” sign and wooden shutters on Main Street give way to a large and welcoming interior. The dough is made fresh daily on site and all pizzas are made to order. So in addition to the extensive menu, diners can let their imaginations run wild with toppings, all of which are fresh and locally sourced where possible. The restaurant has been owned and operated by the same family since it opened and they have a loyal group of regulars who are just as passionate about it as they are. Pizzas are traditionally baked in a stone oven. If you don’t feel like pizza, subs and salads are also offered.
